Hola chic@s,

os dejo el enlace al informativo regional de TVE Castilla-La Mancha en el que sale la jornada de homenaje a Nelson Mandela en nuestro centro. Es a partir del minuto 18:30, a ver si os gusta (VER INFORMATIVO). Están también las intervenciones de Destiny, Jane, Ana Inés y Esperanza, además de la mía.

Os subo también el material que preparé para Matemáticas de 1º ESO sobre Nelson Mandela (ver ficha Mandela).

Curioseando en Internet vi esta imagen (ver). Se trata de un fractal, y al encontrarlo pensé en vosotr@s. Ya que conocéis en qué consiste gracias a la actividad de navidades quizá os apetezca ver otros diferentes. ¿No os parece increíble?

Compound interest

Hi kids,

we left this part of the unit before Christmas. It is quite important that you all understand what compound interest is, because I am afraid you will use it as adults.

First of all, I strongly recommend you to read about simple interest, we studied last year (See simple interest post).

The main difference between simple and compound interest is that with compound interest, we work out the interst for the first period, add it to the total, and then calculate the interest for the next period and so on. In the simple interest calculation we added the interest just at the end. I hope this video will help to remark the differences between simple and compound interest:
